BLACKPOOL

After some decline in the shopping centre over the last 20 years ago, Blackpool still retains the major high street names and plenty of specialist stores. The centre of the shopping area is Bank Hey Street, a cluster of stores and markets around the world famous Tower. The Hounds Hill is the major covered mall in the town.
Further shopping facilities can be found in the South Shore Area of the town.

Large hypermarkets and mega stores have sprung up on retail parks and industrial estates on the outskirts of town and, alongside the Pleasure Beach the front of the Promenade has been transformed by Ocean Boulevard, a development of 'festival shopping' and eateries.
Blackpool is open for late night shopping on Thursdays.
