CITIZEN'S ADVICE BUREAU (CAB)

CAB CAN'T ROLL WITHOUT HORSES!

Our Citizens’ Advice Bureau is asking for hard-working volunteers to train as advisors for its Kirkham office and to enable its Freckleton office to be re-opened. Freckleton had to close early this year for lack of advisors.

CAB provides an essential service to this rural area, giving advice and answering queries on legal, employment and financial problems at no cost to its clients.

If you can give six hours/1 day per week and are aged over 18 and under 130, this could be for you. But, like everything interesting and stimulating, it doesn’t come easy! You will need to train in the bureau, at home and in the CAB Training Centre in Preston.

So, if you want to help people; if you are looking for a challenge, contact CAB Manager Patrick Burns on 01772 682588 for further information!
